Needles-n-Pins Stitcheries

BAGS ARE DONE!!

 

Well I finally got the four bags that I have been working on for the last couple of weeks done. Doesn’t it always happen that when you are the busiest someone wants a custom order, which of course is wonderful! I always feel blessed when I get a custom order. This person saw one of my bags that I have for sale at my summer market and ordered three bags in that design in three different sizes; small, medium and large and one of my messenger bags. She wanted a matching set. I must say the large one was a treat to do. Guess how many squares I had to cut…..that’s right….349!! I was pretty buggy eyed after that. And you know what my sewing room was like when I was done. I do have a tendency to throw everything on the floor. J

                                                                   

What is the hard part is reconfiguring the pattern to fit the dimensions she wanted. I like to do it on scratch paper and doodle it all up.

                                                       

Now that these are done I can get back to resupplying my stock for the summer markets. Seems I just keep selling and have a hard time getting the stock back up. Oh my….what a dilemma to have right. Well off to the fabric store to get more fabric………….love those shopping days!! J
