HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Can't believe it has been so long since I have been on here. The summer months up here are a flurry of activity. I am really busy doing all the markets and festivals around here that I rarely have time to breathe. LOL! Just finished my first big festival last weekend and it was amazing! The local people are so generous with supporting the local artisans and then we have the summer visitor's that are starting to come in. Pretty soon the big fishing season starts and then it is so busy around here that you can hardly get through traffic!

Anyway I just wanted to pop my head in here and wish all the dad's out there a very Happy Father's Day and I hope you all have a great day!

WHAT A SON WON’T DO FOR HIS DAD

I read this the other day and thought it was pretty cute. Thought you all might like to read it. Good for Father's Day! Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there!!

fathers day

An old man lived alone in the country. He wanted to dig his potato garden, but it was very hard work and the ground was hard. His only son, Fred, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.

Dear Fred,

I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I am just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.

                                                                                    Love,

                                                                                    Dad

A few days later he received a letter from his son.

Dear Dad,

For heaven’s sake, don’t dig up that garden! That is where I buried the BODIES!!!

                                                                                    Love,

                                                                                    Fred

At 4 am the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. The apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.

Dear Dad,

Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. That is the best I could for your under the circumstances.

                                                                                    Love,

                                                                                    Fred

Hope all you Dad's have a great day!!
